Coaches Report

Before I start this weeks report I would like to thank all of the parents whom have volunteered their time to not only help on game days but just for being at training on wednesday & friday nights. If we can keep parents like yourselves at the club that follow the kids the way you do I’m sure the club will have a more secure future.

Well let’s get started with our little champs. I am so proud of the little fellas this week the way they stood up and filled in the void we had from having no Fabian, Joel, Adam & ben. I don’t think we would have done much better with those kids in the side. A big well done to Donte. He only has 6 more games left in under 10’s before moving up and sure he will dominate in the under 12’s.

Again I can’t say enough about our little little little champs. Tyson, Franky, Alex, Lachlan, Fynn, Jac & Rylie. These guys next year are going to be a force to be reckoned with. If all our players had hearts like these guys no-one would get near us. Keep up the great work.

Once again Sam surprised me. When will he stop. Hopefully never. I lost count how many marks he took but it was more than he’s taken all year. Well done buddy.

We missed a lot of players on sunday especially Ethan but as usual Trent, Reef, Ryan & Jesse stood up and took on the challenge. Well done guys.

All in all the whole team played fantastic and I’m sure your parents are very proud of you.
Andre, Jake, Ivan, Tyrone and Steven didn’t get much of a chance to strut their stuff on the forward line but very soon they will be busy kicking bags of goals.

Coaches Report

Another week gone and I think the little champs are well on their way to an exciting victory in the very near future.

We went down by 81 points but the score board doesn’t show the determination and attitude our boys put in today. Whatever Adam’s mum fed him for breakfast I hope she continues every week because he came out today and destroyed the opposition. Well done.

Donte couldn’t do a thing wrong today playing full back and will be a great asset for keilor park in future. Great game.

Again I have to mention the little fellas for their guts and determination. Tyson and Lachlan. future champions.

Once again Ryan held up our back line and is hopefully enjoying his football.

Ethan, Trent and Zain again played great games. well done boys.

Coaches Report

What a game. I’m so proud of our boys. Over the next few weeks I think think a win is on the cards. If only we could get the kids to go in a bit harder which I hope is just a confidence thing.

We WON our first quarter of football and I must say the theme song sounded pretty good concidering no one knew the words. hahaha. All in all I think all the boys put in a big effort and deserved that win in the last quarter.

Hopefully next week we can sing again. But the main thing about playing football is to enjoy yourselves and have a good time with your team mates.

Coaches Report

You can just about smell the victory. Only down by 51 points this week. Not long now and we’ll be singin’ the theme song.

All in all everyone did a great job this week. And once again we scored a goal. Thanks to Sam going in hard and getting free kick, then on to Jake who kicked towards goal and little Joel came through with speed and banged a big one.

Sheppard of the week goes to Trent, I don’t think that kid will go near the ball for awhile.

Ryan again did a great job on the half back flank, along with Fabian and Zac.

Surprise of the day came from the speedy Zain when he was put on the ball. A fantastic job getting the ball out of the centre.

Jesse & Adam did well in the ruck and will be taking special training to improve for future games.
it was fantastic to see the little fellas getting in amongst the rough stuff, Lachlan, Frank, Alex, Fynn & Tyson.
Again, our captain Donte & vice captain Ethan kept up with their expectations and played a wonderful game. Reef again using his speed on the wing and opened up the game. Well done.

Ben had a bit of trouble getting into the game but after a bit more match play I’m sure he’ll get right into it.

Well what can I say about our little champ Jac, always trying and giving his best. great to see him giving the bigger boys a run for their money.

Great games were also played by Tyrone, Andre, Ivan & steven.I’m sure we will see alot more of them in the next few weeks.
